This theme’s customizer is broken and has been for at least 6 months. All we are seeing is “widgets”.

Others have complained about this, both here and on Github. And not even a reply from the developer to let us know that he’s working on a fix, or to even acknowledge that he knows about the problem.

Is this theme still being actively developed or should I find myself another theme that is?

Hello! I am liking the theme so far. My “follow this blog” widget (at the bottom of the left sidebar) has an unreadable button – white type on light gray – and I can’t figure out how to change the color of the “subscribe” button (in the image for this theme, the subscribe button is green, not pale gray.) Can you help, please?

Also, is there any way to add a “follow this blog” widget to the end of the post, or would I need to find a plugin for that?

Hi,
I want to remove the featured image from post and pages (image that appear before title). I want to remove it in PHP from the theme, rather than hiding it with CSS.

Any tips on what lines I should delete from the theme files?

I am not sure what the cause of this is, but my web server has updated wordpress to 5.5 (latest) and the customization options have completely disappeared.

I have been told this might be an incompatibility with a plugin (widget-context) but wanted to check.

Is Themelia fully compatible with SSL (https://), and if so, is there anything I have to do to make Themelia work properly with https://?

I’ve been using Themelia on my WordPress-based Web site since late May 2020, and it worked fine, but upon implementing SSL and changing my site over to https://, Themelia does not appear to be functioning properly. When I go to the Theme customization area, I no longer get all of the tabs along the left side as before and it says “Customize:loading” in the browser’s title tab as if the Customize page has not finished loading. Only Widgets shows up there, not all of the other choices that were there before such as Custom CSS. Also, my site no longer has the proper look for the top menu.

Are there spots in the WordPress database or Themelia theme files where I need to replace http with https for Themelia to work properly? My Web site itself does work and another theme appears to work properly, but even when I uninstall Themelia and reinstall it, that doesn’t fix the problems.

Thank you for creating the free Themelia theme and for any help you can provide.

I asked Thrive Leads staff and they checked a conflict problem originating from the themelia theme

How can I fix the problem ?

Thank you for reaching out to us and I’m sorry that you’re encountering this issue. Also, my apologies for the delayed response as we operate at a reduced capacity during weekends.
I have logged in to your site and went to your Thrive Leads Dashboard. I was able to replicate the issue where I couldn’t edit the elements of your Ribbon form.
I went ahead and deactivated all non-Thrive plugins to isolate the problem, however, it doesn’t seem to be a plugin conflict issue. I then switched your theme temporarily to a default WordPress one (Twenty Twenty) and it seems to fix the issue as seen in this screen recording I made – https://share.getcloudapp.com/bLuRGwPo

Our products are written according to the WordPress Codex Standards. Given that, could you please reach out to the developers of your Themelia theme and have them check the issue you’re experiencing ?

Lastly, I have already switched your theme back to Themelia so that your site is the same as you left it and for you to try this on your end as well.

I installed the theme to test it out and got an email message from WordPress about an E_COMPILE_ERROR:

An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 29 of the file …/wp-content/themes/themelia/functions.php. Error message: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘…/wp-content/themes/default/library/hybrid.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php73/pear’)

The information for this theme doesn’t say there is a required default library. I don’t have one. What is this and why is it required or is this a hacked download?

Upon theme update you must go into the Customizer -> Mobile Menu -> set your value and publish changes.

NEW: Sticky Header, Mobile Menu Breakpoint, Buttons Color

Site Title and Header
Header Type

• No Sticky (Normal Header)
• Sticky Header (Always stick your header to the top)
• Sticky Headroom (Hide your header until you need it)

Mobile Menu

• Hamburger Menu Breakpoint – Move slider to the viewport width where you want the hamburger menu appear.
• Header Stacked & Centered Breakpoint – If you do not want to use Hamburger Menu, you may set a breakpoint where the site title and the main menu will appear stacked and centered. This will work only if Hamburger Menu Breakpoint value is set to 0.

I love Themelia clean appearance, but I need to include a slider below the header to add some news. There are a few plugins for creating sliders, but I cannot find a way to include the shortcode on the (main) blog page, nor a way to create a custom blog page where to do that.

Do you have any idea about how to do that?

How do I understand, the functions are in the functions-attr.php file? (in the library/inc folder).

I was going to change my old theme to Themelia but I couldn′t because of fitvid. Wrapping is not working correctly, my videos are very high but width is correct 100%. What to do? I don′t use any plugin for videos, I simply paste the Youtube embed code and change height to 400px and width to 100%.

In a previous post kdearinger1 asked “Where do I change the menu/hamburger break point”? Is it still the case that a child theme is needed to change the pixel break point? For my site 1200 is too high a value. I’m concerned that some users with a small computer screen may not be familiar with the hamburger icon if they don’t use mobile devices.

I’ve managed to remove some of it but it still present when I click on it. Shows up on all browsers and on my phone.

I’m sure its a easy fix, but I’m stuck!

EDIT: I guess I just needed to take a break from the screen. Solved it!

This work and hopefully it will help someone else out there. Personally, I think you should remove it in the next update.

This is a pretty minor problem to a great theme so far, but I noticed the one element of the page I couldn’t change was the buttons (to the “submit comment” field, etc.). They are green right now, and I can’t seem to change that. Maybe I overlooked something, but is there a way to customize that?

After the recent update the header layout changed, it used to be wide but now it’s only above the content in the middle. I can’t find any settings for this in the customizer (I use a child theme)

I wonder whether the text at the end of a post: ‘Posted in: [Category]’ can be removed?

Hello! First of all; thank you for this great theme for WordPress. I really enjoy working with it.

I want to make a custom template with a sidebar that is wider than the standard “primary” sidebar. I’ve done this before with other themes but it seems to be a litle bit different with Themelia.

Can I add the sidebar in functions.php and in the page template? When editing a page I can only select layouts, not templates. I did see something about layouts in inc\themelia.php, do I have to make any changes to this file?

I guess the sidebar and content width must be changed/added to style.css?

I’d like you to help me with the post on the title that I have on my website as a draft yet.
I do not wish to publish until I sort out the font problem I am experiencing, as the editor on the theme doesn’t seem to work any more. I don’t know whether it is related to the fact I have done an update of the WordPress Theme today.

Originally, each time I was copying and pasting any article on a new post page, the theme will automatically assign a font, which I could also change using the different headings. However, I am unable to change anything now and the font that appears on this post is different to the one used on the rest of posts of this website.
I have checked if I do have any security plugging installed but I don’t think I have.

There used to be a Editor option in Dashboard>Appearance>Editor where I’ll be usually be able to insert Adsense codes or insert ads to home page and to the theme’s function file. But I am unable to find that option anymore.

My question is simple: how can I add a button to a menu item, like the gray download button in the theme demo?

I tried adding btn btn_secondary to the css class in my WordPress menu panel, but the button doesn’t look or behave the same as the demo button.
