Bad URLs NOT going to 404 Page?
-
WordPress gurus unite:
I have an issue when a “bad” url is typed in the (browser of your choice) search address area. The visitor is directed to a blog gallery page.
That’s random… hmm?
QUESTION: Why are “bad” urls not going to my 404 page?

(temp while under construction)Bad URL (for testing – does not really exist):

I recently changed my permalink structure to:
/blog/%postname%-%post_id%/Its the only change I’ve made besides the every day page and post creation tasks. Just throwing it out there in case someone identifies that as a tip to a fix.
Bottom line: I want any “bad” urls to go to the 404 page.
Thanks to anyone that can shed some light on the issue for me.
Peace.
