Cannot access Network Admin section of WP Multisite

  • Hi all,

    I have a WP multisite with 3 sites. I can access the admin pages of the individual sites without any problems. However, when I try to access the multisite network admin page, the page returns the ‘ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS’ error. This means that I can’t add plugins, or change site settings or whatsoever.

    I have a very strong feeling that the issue started occurring when I changed the domain(s) from https://.. to https://www because of Cloudflare.

    Things I tried:
    – define(‘DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE’, ‘www.surfawhile.com’); in wp_config
    – changing SSL support in cloudflare to Full and / Full Strict

    Do you guys have an idea what else this could be?

  • Turn off the Proxy service at Cloudflare temporarily

    but

    it is probably the htaccess file

    Check or delete your htaccess file

    Then build it back by setting Permalinks again

    I don’t think you really need the www in the URL either.
