There are a few things that need to be enabled for permalinks to work:

    – The Enable Permalinks checkbox
    – The Permalinks Page field needs to be set and should be the slug of a page where you’ve placed the [link-library] shortcode (e.g. /my_links)
    – The Switching method should be set to HTML GET + Permalink
    – Only show one category at a time should be enabled
    – It might also help to re-save your Permalinks settings

What I’m coming up with, is Yoast has created an XML sitemap:
    https://{domain.com}/link_library_category-sitemap.xml

    And it contains:
https://{domain.com}/link_library_category/{category} and this URL doesn’t exist.

“link_library_category” should be “links”, which is the slug.

I’ll have to see why the link categories are showing up there. I would not have expected them them. Link Library does not support doing these type of archive pages for link categories.

Basically, YOAST is seeing the category taxonomy, which is called link_library_category, and showing it in the site map, although the post type link_library_links is not there.
