Correct URL For Blog

  • I have installed WordPress on a Win XP PC at home in a sub directory of my wwwroot directory, the file location being:
    D:\Data\wwwroot\wordpress
    The URL is:
    https://localhost/wordpress

    If I click “Visit Site” in the Dashboard I get switched to https://localhost/wordpress and see a directory listing.

    Presumably there should be a file name after the URL – what is the start up file please, and should I need to enter its name somewhere in the Dashboard?
