    Hi Team,

    Great work on the plugin.

    I was checking a scenario today and I just found out that after selecting the custom gateway payment option that I have created, no new order email is triggered.

    How can I enable email notification using the payment gateway method I had created?

    Thank you as well for the update. I had actually confirmed when I deactivated my other WooCommerce related-plugins. My email notifications are working of course if I use the standard payment method of WooCommerce, but when I use the custom gateway I had created via the plugin, the email notifications are not triggering.

    Do I need to set this up specifically for the plugin because I haven’t noticed any setting for email notifications? Or did I miss some steps?

    Sorry for the delayed response. Had to research on this extensively. Payment gateways do not handle emails at least directly, you can refer to the documentation:

    or on your site

    https://{your-site}/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=email

    where on the later you can setup email recipients for order events and the custom messages. Having this plugin send emails will have woocommerce sending a duplicate email as wooocommerce already handles this.

    Hi there. No, no new order email is triggered using custom gateway. I don′t find a way to solve it on wcommerce setting email tab. Any help please.

    Do other payment gateways on your setup also send emails. i have tested this on my setup and get an email sent for new orders as well as order status changes. i suggest you look into your server more carefully

    I mean, the standards payment gateways from Woo (COD, Bank Transfer) are working as expected but when I use a custom gateway I created from the plugin, I was not receiving any new order notification. I even installed a plugin WP Mail Logging just to check if the emails are pushing through. I found out the custom gateway (at least on my end) are not triggering email notifications (if I’m making sense). Server-wise, I don’t think there is any issue since I am receiving emails if I used the standard Woo payment gateways.

    Is there an extra step to configure the email using this plugin?

    I am using Astra Theme.
