Downloads not working in Chrome

    Hi,

    Our downloads have stopped working in Chrome.
    When you click a download link, nothing happens. There’s a little activity as if it’s trying to load something, but that’s all.

    It works fine in Firefox, and fine in MS Edge.
    I’ve tested Chrome on 2 computers, and on mobile, doesn’t work on any of them.

    If I right click and “open in new tab” on mobile, it opens the download, but this trick doesn’t work on Chrome on the (Windows) desktop.

    I just tried with a download URL and it seems to be working fine in Chrome as well.
    Is it possible to send us the download URL so we can take a look?

    Hi Mihaela,
    After your email advice to change the download links to https://, I noticed that once uploaded, the download manager urls were still https://

    To fix this, I checked wp-options and needed to change wp-option 36 “home” to the https:// version of the site address. It’s all fine now.
