Get rid of SUBMIT LISTING link

  • I am having an issue with the user submission. I actually posted in the other thread here.

    But to get around that for now. I would like to get rid of the “Submit Listing” link in the header.

    I am ok with adding manually until you fix the other problem.

    I really like your plugin, and this is a new site and we have not started the directory, I would like to use yours, but with this issue of the broken form.

    So if we can get rid of the submit link that would fix it for now!

    This has been the worst delay between updates, and I apologize for that. Give 0.8.4-beta a try though, it should fix your submit form issues! Let me know how it goes.

    Now the submit works. But now the issue is that when any website address is added it will fail. Not for facebook, twitter, or linkedin. I guess it is the company web address.

    I tested it locally on a few setups and it was accepting URLs, so I’m wondering if the error checking is seeing something about the particular URL you’re testing against.

    What is the URL you’re trying to submit, exactly as you’re entering it?

    leo-only.org is what I used. I tried with the https:// and https://

    Just for clarity, did you try it without either https:// or https:// (just the url), and this is on 0.84-beta?

    It should accept that with the https://, I’m just curious.

    I just tried again.
    I used
    https://www.leo-only.org
    leo-only.org
    https://www.leo-only.org
    https://www.leo-only.org

    I also tried leo-only.com which we also have.

    None of them worked.

    But I was able to use facebook.com

    It appears that it does not like the “-” in the domain. I just tried leoonly.org and it worked fine.

    Could you give me a list of plugins activated alongside the directory? I’ve tried all of those permutations and they all passed on my end. Now I’m curious as to where the conflict is occurring and how.
