    Hi,

if you want to revert back to https:// you can disable the plugin via the plugins overview and your site should move back to https://. Do note that if there are any other redirects to https:// set, for example in your CDN configuration that these need to be removed as well to fully move back to https://.

Really Simple SSL does not change URL’s in your database, other than the home_url, which has been reverted to http when you deactivated.

If you have https URL’s on your site, you have probably added content to your site while your site was on https. The default WordPress behaviour is then to add URl’s and images with https URL’s, which is what you are seeing now.

If you use a plugin like Yoast, this plugin will add a canonical URL to your pages that should prevent any duplicate content. For further information on this please contact Yoast support.

To replace your URL’s to http, you can do a search and replace with the better search and replace plugin.

Thank you for your answer, but I don’t have added any content or made any change. Just enable the pluguin a few hours ago, checked that redirections were not done properly, and disabled it now.

Then you should probably clear your browser cache. After deactivating the plugin all changes that were made have been reverted, so your browser is probably redirecting to https because of the 301 permanent redirect.
