HTTPS protocol in episode url

PowerPress normally works fine with https. Are you having a specific problem? Did iTunes give you any type of error after you started using https?

Here is my error, it’s in powerpress itself.

You can ignore that warning. It’s actually going to be removed in a future PowerPress update. You should be able to use https URL’s without any problem.

Angelo, I’m currently disqussing the issue with iTunes Podcasts support. But still, when I add https link the redirect is broken like this:

https://media.blubrry.com/uwebdesign/https://uwebdesign.ru/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/podcast-45-final.mp3

When I do http, the protocol is removed from the final string.

With the media redirect URLs, simply change the https://media.blubrry.com to https://media.blubrry.com, then you do not need the nested https://.

e.g. https://media.blubrry.com/uwebdesign/uwebdesign.ru/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/podcast-45-final.mp3

In the next major release of PowerPress, we will handle this for you. Until then you may need to hard code the https:// version of the media redirect in each URL.
