IP Addresses doesn’t show blocked

  • Hi there,

    I review all the Wordfence activity for {date} on {domain} emails that I get for a clients website. It always has entries in the Top 10 IPs Blocked table, but whenever I go to the back-end and look at the Blocked IP’s there are no entries – https://{domain}/wp-admin/admin.php?page=WordfenceBlockedIPs. Could someone let me know why this would be?

  • Hi Theunis,
    These IPs are blocked for a short period of time that can be adjusted from (Wordfence > Options => How long is an IP address blocked when it breaks a rule), of course during this time you can go to (Wordfence > Blocked IPs) to block any of them permanently, however, this isn’t recommended because IPs addressees are dynamically assigned to different machines on the internet and they get changed regularly, so you may end up blocking a legit IP after a while.
