Everything about that artwork file looks fine to me. I can’t say why Apple doesn’t like it.

Try using a slightly modified version, make the file size a little smaller thru image compression or just make a slightly smaller version of the file and see if that makes a difference.

Also, ensure that the file format and file type match. The extension of the file is .jpg so make sure it is in fact a JPEG file and not actually a PNG. (I have no reason to think it’s not actually JPEG, just tossing out ideas.)

Only other thing you can do is contact iTunes Support by clicking the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page and ask them what the problem is:

All right – I changed the feed to the Podcast Mirror version https://feeds.podcastmirror.com/rppr which does validate to iTunes. Now there’s a new error for the artwork when I tried to validate it with https://podba.se/validate/?url=https://feeds.podcastmirror.com/rppr

“The cover art must be 1,400–3,000 pixels square to look good on fancy retina-class displays.

Darn, I wasn’t able to retrieve the image (got a “getimagesize(//rppr.0kjmb2e.maxcdn-edge.com/wp-content/uploads/powerpress/RPPR-Logo-3000-v2.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory” error). If you’re sure it’s there, please report using the “?” in the lower-right corner.”

I am using a cache plugin with max CDN to speed up my website. Maybe that’s the source of the error?

    Hello @clockworkjoe,

I just checked podba.se and https://www.castfeedvalidator.com and your feed checks out ok.

The error you got though is telling, the “getimagesize(//rppr.0kjmb2e.maxcdn-edge.com/wp-content/uploads/powerpress/RPPR-Logo-3000-v2.jpg): “, note the URL starts with 2 slashes instead of the schema https://. If MaxCDN is not including the schema that would explain the problem. RSS feeds need to have the schema for all URLs.

    Thanks,
    Angelo

I disabled the plugin WP Fastest Cache and it works properly, so its some kind of problem with that.
