Well, all I can say I’m using IE 9 and don’t have a clue about compatibility-modes or not….

But Customizr works great with IE9. No problems you’re describing. So it’s something with your system… Can you reinstall your browser?

If not, I have another suggestion. You can do cross-browser testing remotely. You can do independent verification of your site on older browsers. Check out these:

If you can confirm the problem exists after any of these tests, then there is an issue with code someplace….

@apestaartje: Well, all I can say is I don’t have a clue about IE compatibility modes either. But apart from you, I don’t need to, as I use a full CSS3 compliant browser and I see the circles regardless of browser settings.

If you want to see the circles, take 10 minutes to read this article on IE’s Compatibility View and maybe improve your web experience by a tiny bit. Or take 5 minutes to install this or this, for a guaranteed improved web experience. Circles included.

    I have tested on 3 PC’s with (normal) IE9 and all 3 showing squares….

I still think it would be a good idea to isolate the problem completely and perform a completely independent test to prove your point. You know, MS could be shipping different versions of IE9 to Netherlands just to disturb the wold browser hegemony… They have a secret agenda to piss people off in general (as you can tell I’m not a fan). Well, I am in US. No problems here. I don’t know where the other members are.

Anyway, either browsershots.org or netrenderer.com would do… Could you link to screenshots with results?

I can’t make it with snag.gy so for the occasion I put the screenshot on another website. You’ll see below the Customizr Demo the date of IE9.

Well it’s the Netherlands, not Timbukto or something ??

BTW in browsershots.org MSIE 9.0 is not mentioned.
In netrender.com I got the message (in German) the function doesn’t work…

I hear 1 out of 2 dutch people can’t tell a circle from a square half the time. And it’s not ’cause they skipped geometry, either. It’s ’cause of their legislation, I hear…

    Rumors, I say.

Innocent joke on your permissive legislation on grass. No offence meant.

So right now I have downloaded the very brand new version of IE 9.0 again and…. still squares.
It also could be you can use some grass seeing those squares as well in IE 9.0….
I mean I’ve showed you by the link I have really the 9.0 version.

Ok, leaving joke aside. Did you read this article? It’s the link I posted earlier and somehow it got removed. I hope I’m not being censored here. Apparently all 3 links in that post got mugged. The second and third were to download pages for chrome and firefox. Weird.

Sorry, I’m officially out if my ideas. I guess I go and smoke some grass instead.

I appreciate sending the article, but may be you can imagine I’ve tried this already. Thanks anyway.
Believe me seeing squares with the Customizr Theme in IE 9.0 hasn’t to do with the Compatibility View, I’ve checked your suggestion again.

Right now it seems Apestaartje against The World.
HOW ON EARTH is it possible you see Circles while I see Squares in the same browser??

PS: By the way it’s a good article and can’t imagine it would be censored.

Apestaartje, it’s not you against the world. We are trying to help. It’s just that sometimes even the best teams of excellent, dedicated volunteer supporters (I’m not counting myself) can run out of ideas…. Troubleshooting remotely has never been easy.
