    Hello there,

I have also emailed you from your site this very question:

If in General Settings –> “Exchange the thumbnail with main image on WooCommerce products, IS ticked·, then the main image is replaced with thumnnail when this is clicked, but not the other way round, i.e., thumbnail remains as such, so that there are now two thumbnail images, one in big size, in place of the main image and the other one as it was: a thumbnail in the gallery.

Now, and this is my main issue, if I click on the thumbnail image in gallery, the main image (which is now showing the thumbnail) dissapears and in its place there is a broken image icon and only the alt text of the image can be seen (see screenshots for clarification)

Please advise. Very interested in you plugin. Just neet to fix this.

    Regards,

    Hello,

a link to the website would really help me. Without looking into the HTML I can only guess what’s happening.

Can you at least tell me what theme are you using, so I can try to replicate it on my computer?

    Hello Diana,

Thanks for your replay. I am using Udesign theme (https://themeforest.net/item/udesign-responsive-wordpress-theme/253220)

As for the url of my site, I have content copy & right click deactivated through a security plugin. Pls let me know if you need me to temporarily de-activate this setting for you to check.

    Thank you very much

Please give me the website’s url. I can still see the HTML even if the copy & right click are deactivated.

    Hello Diana,

Many thanks for digging into this. I have tested the issue deactivating all plugins (except the few ones I mention below, as being a live site, I did not want this to impact on users’experience) and the issue remains. These are the plugins I did not deactivate:

    – Gravity Forms
    – Postman
    – Udesign Woocommerce Integration
    – Woocommerce
    – Woozone
    – Wordfence Security

Maybe you already know whether some of these plugins cause or not conflict with yours?

One thing I want to mention, maybe it helps: on one ocassion, I had a somewhat similar issue with a plugin (blog2social) showing broken images in the posts to be shared.

Finally, the issue was related to the fact that the urls for the images had a relative protocol, i.e,: // instead of https://, due to a plugin that I used in the past called “Velvet Blues Update Urls” (https://es.www.ads-software.com/plugins/velvet-blues-update-urls/) to turn all urls in my site from https:// to ://, in order to avoid mixed (insecure content) when forcing the site to go under https://, which I am planning to do in the next future.

Apparently, this was causing the links to images being written with the domain twice, as it is shown here (** Notice the domain name written twice): https://liderazgopositivo.com/liderazgopositivo.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/gestion-del-estres-2si.png

On that occassion I asked the developer if he could tweak the plugin to work based on this info, as I preferred (and I still do) not to use the Velvet Blues Update Urls again to change back all urls to https://, as I made the change long time ago and don’t remember well how to use it and it could break the site. Also, because the relative protocol may help prevent mixed (insecure) content when forcing the the site to go under https://, which I am planning to do in the next future.

So don’t know if this could also be the cause of this issue with your plugin. Please let me know, what do you think?

    Kind regards

@diana_burduja I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

    https://make.www.ads-software.com/support/handbook/forum-welcome/#the-bad-stuff

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
