Thanks again for helping me resolve my last issue.

Now the plugin doesn’t seem to be working for me. The only things I’ve changed since it last worked a couple of days ago are the latest gravity forms update and adding forced SSL to the page that displays the editing links:
    https://www.realzap.com/my-account/

It’s odd.. The links show up if I change the Sticky list settings to “Admnistrator” from “Entry Creator”. However… when you click on the “edit” link their is nothing in the form to edit. The “link to post” link does work perfectly.

    Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Have you updated the “Embedd page/post” to use https://?

Try updating that and if that doesnt work, try manually inputing the edit url in the “Custom url” text field.

Also, I think that if you want the page that shows the list to use SSL then the edit page must also use SLL because the first needs to post data to the second and I believe that wont work if a page that uses encrypted data tries to post to a page that doesn’t.

Thanks for your response… Nope. that doesn’t do it. I used the custom URL method. Now I’m not even getting the links.

Should I make a login for you?

    Thanks,
    Mike

Sure. You can send it to [email protected]

    Ok. You have several problems.

    1. You are registering the user in the same form as the listing. This means that the entry cant be edited without it trying to re-register that same user. I would suggest haveing separate forms for user registration and listings.

    2. You are using a multi-page form which is not supported by sticky list.

    Possible solution:

    • Make a separate form for user registration and attach “create user” to it. If you want users to be able to update their user info you should make a copy of that form and attach “update user” to the copy.
    • Simplify your listing form and make it a one page form. That way it can be edited.

Thanks very much.. Yeah, I figured something like that had to be the case. I’m trying to do too much there.

I really appreciate you taking the time to research this for me.

    I’ll go to plan B.

    All the best,

No problem. I like your idea here, just try to simplify it. If you have any other questions, please feel free to open a new support thread.
