[Plugin: WordPress HTTPS (SSL)] Cannot connect to ANY page
-
Hello,
I had a whole wordpress up and running.
I thought it would be cool to experiment with the https function so I decided to try this plugin. I downloaded it and activated it and enabled these 2 settings:
* Force SSL Administration
* HTTPS Front PageI saved and reloaded the page (both https:// and https://) and I got these errors:
Chrome & FF: the page just times-out while it’s loading and it sais the server takes too long to send an answer.
IE:
The website cannot display the page
HTTP 500
Most likely causes:
?The website is under maintenance.
?The website has a programming error.
—————————So, basicly I just f*cked my website. Great. Now I’m looking for a way to roll it back. I added the
define(‘WPHTTPS_RESET’, true);
to my wp-config.php file but my pages still don’t load.I there ANY way to manually delete the plugin and undo its changes or to roll my wordpress back to a state that I can actually access it? It’s been a while since I’ve made a backup of it… I know that’s not very smart of me but I thought as long as it’s not really active (I’m the only one using it for the moment) it wouldn’t have any problems… Too bad I made the problem myself now. I could really really really use some help with this.
Thanks in advance.
Sorry for my bad English, it’s not my native language and I’m having a panic attack right now because of this.
