    Hi,

I changed my wordpress single install recently into a multisite install. When I test my site in Page Speed Insights it says I need to improove server time response. My hosting support replied that I might solve it with a redirect of http to https by adding code to the .htaccess file ut that I would need to remove the redirect already in place by my CMS in order to avoid conflicts.

Any idea how to do this? What is it in wordpress that is doing the redirect already, so that I can deactivate it before adding the new redirect in the .htaccess file?

    Thanks
    Rodrigo

  • I checked and your site is redirecting from http to https correctly.

Just a note, make sure you are testing https:// in Page Speed Insights (not https://)

    Hi Liew,

yes, I checked with https. My hosting provider says that the insufficient result in page speed related to server might come from that redirection and that I could improve it by creating a different redirect in the htaccess file. But I have no idea how to create it in a multisite and am also afraid of creating a conflict if I end up with 2 different redirects at the same time.
