Run this plugin on already running SSL site

    Hello,
    I’ve read that in order to get my old FB comments I need to run this plugin.
    My question is what will happen if I’ll install and activate the plugin on a site that is already full SSL?
    How can it impact or affect my site?

    Hi,

    the plugin is not specifically designed to retrieve FB comments, so we cannot guarantee using the plugin will retrieve the comments.

    In regards to your question, the plugin will detect that your site is on SSL and won’t do much. On activation the plugin changes the site url to https://, issues a redirect to https:// and activates the mixed content fixer. Since your site url is likely already https://, a redirect to https:// is active and you don’t have any mixed content I don’t think the plugin will have an impact on your site.
