    Curtiss,

Sorry for the delay in responding. It’s been a busy week with pro customers and I missed this ine in my inbox.

Please click the following link for instructions on what info to provide support. Please do not include your domain name since this is a public forum.

This is most likely an issue with your hosting company blocking email. But that doesn’t explain why the messages do not stay in the queue. Could you tell me how many subscribers are on your list and how many get added to the queue when you first send an email? It’s possible that this is just an accounting error on the reports tab.

You should also check with your hosting company to find out how many messages they allowed to be sent per day and then set your daily limits accordingly. But I still would like to make sure that all of those messages are adding to the queue.

    Thanks.

I’ve just got the standard (cheapest) web-hosting service with Crazy Domains. I don’t think it’s an issue with any limitation by my hosting as it has been stuck like this for just under 2 weeks.

I’ve emailed my hosting company asking if they are blocking emails. I’ll post their response when I get it.

I’ve just sent out my second email today to the same subscription list.
The reports tab for this email looks like this:
    Recipients: 1365
    Sent: 0
    In Queue: 1000

Reports tab for my first email still looks like this:
    Recipients: 1309
    Sent: 1000
    In Queue: 0

    (@curtisiss)

Oh, and thanks so much for your response and effort so far ??

    Thread Starter curtisISS

    (@curtisiss)

The recipients from the reports tab that I have posted for each of those emails I’ve sent is equal to the amount of subscribers in the list at the time.

So just confirm, you have 1365 recipients on your subscriber list? And you are only ever showing 1000 messages sent, correct?

If you click on the queue tab and then send history, does it look like the messages are being sent to the people on that subscriber list? Or are Messages getting stuck in the queue?

Do you happen to use Go Daddy for hosting?

Could you also try adding the URL string below the end of your domain in your browser and copying the output into the forum? It will tell me your sending limits and whether there is anything in the queue right now.

    /Wp-cron.php?action=sendpresss

    (@curtisiss)

Yes and yes, I have 1365 (and counting) emails in my subscriber list and it’s (my first and only email until yesterday) has capped out at 1000 emails being sent.

In the queue tab it looks like everything is working fine.
“451 of a possible 5000 emails sent in the last 24 hours.
56 of a possible 100 emails sent in the last hour.”
Going by the reports tab, this is completely false.

I’m with Crazy Domains in Australia

If I add /Wp-cron.php?action=sendpresss to the end f my domain in the browser it shows my sites 404 page and if I add /wp-cron.php?action=sendpresss to the end it loads a blank page. Both with https:// and https://.

My second email hasn’t sent anything yet (according to the report tab), from memory my first 1 did this too, it took a long time to start sending (2 days maybe) and when it did start it seemed to go very slowly.

This is what the reports tab for my second email is saying at the moment, its been about 20 hours.

    Recipients: 1365
    Sent: 0
    In Queue: 1000

Try this for the 404 errors

    https://sendpress.com/support/knowledgebase/emails-and-links-showing-404-page/

    Did you enable autocron?

    https://sendpress.com/support/knowledgebase/sendpress-auto-cron/

Did you hear back from crazy domains as to how many messages you can send per day or per hour?

    Thread Starter curtisISS

    (@curtisiss)

    I’ve just enabled autocron.

The links in my emails aren’t 404ing they just take a realy long time to load the first time (like 30 seconds +), they initially come up with something like mydomain/sendpress/951951954684654984984894etc… during this time. should I still follow the steps in that link you’ve posted? I don’t understand why the link can’t just go directly to the address specified??

I haven’t heard back from crazy domains yet but I don’t think it’s a problem on their end as I was sending out bulk emails through another website we have hosted with them (exact same package). This wasn’t with Sendpress.

The queue still says I’m sending emails, but with the daily and hourly limits I’ve set it should be well and truly done by now. I’m pretty sure they are all just sending out completely blank with no subject too…

    Plugin Author itdoug

    (@itdoug)

I believe that delay has to do with the limited amount of memory assigned to your site. That long URL that loads first is how we track for reporting. If it’s taking a long time, it’s probably because of your hosting configuration or hosting provider.

You can probably increase your hourly limits, but you should check with your hosting provider as to what they allow. If you do decide to upgrade to pro, that won’t be a problem if you send through a third-party. I also reduced the number of messages sent per auto con from 25 to 15 because your site was not sending all 25 when I was investigating yesterday.

    Thread Starter curtisISS

    (@curtisiss)

I’ve got the memory boosted up to 512mb, is that enough?

    Thread Starter curtisISS

    (@curtisiss)

I’m still waiting to hear back about weather my emails are being choked by my hosting provider

    Plugin Author itdoug

    (@itdoug)

Yes, that will help with sending but your hosting provider could still interfere. Let me know what they say. I sent you an email as well.
