Thumbnail Edit Won't Work

    Hello, I work with several customers using NextGen as their gallery on their WordPress sites. I have received a few emails from clients saying that the thumbnail editor is broken. Most are still running 1.9.13 since there were many issues we ran into with 2.0. I also used a test site and updated to 2.0.40 and the problem still exists there. The image is broken on the left-hand side of the screen and the existing thumbnail is just stationary and can’t be changed. Any help would be appreciated.

    @sfzach – We are only actively supporting the current version of NextGEN Gallery but it is interesting to read that this issue was being seen in the NextGEN Legacy version installations you are working with, too.

    Have you checked for any plugin conflicts? I doubt it would be theme related unless all of your customers involved are using the same theme then it could be related to something with the current theme.

    Thanks for getting back to me, Cais. The websites do have a special theme that all of our customers get from us and we found the problem was there. I actually just heard back from someone on our team who was able to find it and fix it. Thanks for the quick response, though!

    Hi @sfzach – I’ve had this problem across versions on a site. You say you fixed it – any chance you can say how please?

    For the record, Firebug shows that when I’m trying to edit a thumbnail it shows a 404 error for a call to

    https://{url}/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/admin/edit-thumbnail.php?id=2378

    – thought that applies to any image ID.
