I’ve been using a widget for NextGen Slideshow. When this plugin was updated to 2.0.61 all I get is a spinning loader in place of the two slideshows.

Hi @sfzach – I’ve had this problem across versions on a site. You say you fixed it – any chance you can say how please?

For the record, Firebug shows that when I’m trying to edit a thumbnail it shows a 404 error for a call to

https://{url}/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/admin/edit-thumbnail.php?id=2378

– thought that applies to any image ID.

I missed mpluss’s post and started ploughing through the database and base64 decoding.

Just look at Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects > Advanced Options. A simple replacing of one for domain for another sorted this in about 30 seconds.

Still don’t get why it had to be encoded though.

I sent a bug report. But having checked on another version of this site on our dev server, it does work. Were there any database updates that should have occurred between version 1.9… and 2.0.33 ?
Just a thought.

I did an update – copied files over ftp and replaced the existing folder. The 404 in the console is the only error I see. I have been turning off other plugins but it makes no difference.

Do you use Firebug? It would show you that there are some jQuery errors, possibly relating to a noconflict issue or that you have two sliders installed. I can see cyclone in there but also you refer to nivoSlider in line 37 in the header.

A quick additional note. I had an issue with the plugin not functioning till I realised I had cycle.js installed independently of the plugin. Removing the script made my slider work.

Would be nice to see easing in a future version.
