I would suggest you take this up with bluehost support directly, as a “incorrect file format” on the database tables themselves points to another issue.

You may also want to try and repair it through phpMyAdmin to see if that has any luck.

It depends on what type of hosting panel you are running. Who is your host? Are they using cPanel or another control panel?

Typically you would enter this all under the SSL/TLS location. You would take the CRT provided by your SSL provider and copy it in there, to match up with the saved KEY that’s already in your cPanel account.

It sounds like your wp-login.php file is gone. Have you visually confirmed that the file is in this location /home/heinlein/domains/heinleinsociety.org/public_html/ths/wp-login.php ?

It sounds like there is an HTTPS requirement placed on your wordpress administration, but you don’t have an SSL certificate installed on your hosting account.

The error messsage that you have posted is extremely common with the fact that you don’t have an SSL installed, but are attempting SSL (https://) access.

What happens when you try to access your WordPress admin without https:// ? Does it automatically forward to https:// ?

You may have some code in your .htaccess files doing this that needs to be removed.

I would highly suggest that you check with your host to see if there is an error on their end, or if they have restricted access to wp-login.php based on abuse.

Check with your host to see if there are any PHP errors relating to out of memory, etc.

This sounds like an .htaccess password protection was placed on the site for you. When you set this up you can set what it says in the pop-up – in yours it appears to be set as “OnlyMe”. Is there any code in your .htaccess?

Would backing up the actual database be of use? You might be running into a PHP timeout, memory_limit. I would check with your host about it to see if they notice any errors.

Have you attempted a different browser?

1. Who is your host? Is your current hosting provider overloaded? This can be a huge contributing factor in website speed.

2. You may want to look into disabling extra plugins that are not needed, and enabling some caching plugins.

This sounds like a theme concern. What is your URL? Have you attempted to add a widget to the main site with your contact details?

If both the live install and the dev install are active in the same account, with the same code, it wouldn’t make much sense that one errors but not the other.

Do you have any custom php.ini files defining memory_limit in one install and not the other? Have they applied https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP ?

I am not logged out after multiple days. It sounds like you have an issue with cookies. Does your work restrict cookie use in their work computers?

Typically you can decrease the quality a small amount, undetectable to the naked eye, that results in a smaller image file. You could test his through flipping between both images.
